Professional Development for Principals (PDP)
“Principals really matter.” That was the key finding in a 2021 report by the Wallace Foundation analyzing research since 2000 about school principals.

Supporting principals so that they can be most effective is critical. My 19 years as a school principal at two different schools has prepared me well for this work.

Open to school leaders PreK-8, PDP involves participation in a small group Community of Practice (once every 4-6 weeks) using NAESP’s 2019 edition of “Pillars, Practices, and Priorities for Effective Principals,” which is aligned with the Professional Standards for Education Leaders (PSEL), as a guide, in conjunction with systems thinking habits and tools.

Delivered in ten 2-hour sessions over the course of one academic year

Participation includes on-call availability to help between session, as needed.
